Gamer's Lair Flesh and Blood Playmat: The Flow

The Flow is a magical current that runs through the land of Aria and its inhabitants, both humanoid and beast. It acts as a natural barrier, protecting the inhabitants of Aria from outside invaders and harm. Through it, Aria was once hidden from prying eyes of those who would seek to loot the mystic sanctuary.

However, as generations have passed, the magic that once hid Aria has began to fade, and thus a more unpredictable -perhaps defensive- flow was born. A once welcoming and calm current now changes the land at random, hiding things that once existed and revealing things once lost.

This piece was found among a set of ruins buried by time and seems to reference a mystical stone that will appear to help the inhabitants of Aria in their time of need.

What does The Flow know that we do not? Perhaps something is on the horizon.
